2007 Auburn-Washburn School District #437 Distinguished Staff Recognition and Award Winners

Certified Support Staff - Washburn Rural Middle School Guidance Team
Each year, the Auburn-Washburn school district asks the staff to
nominate their peers for recognition of a job well done. The categories
are: Distinguished Certified Support Staff Award, Distinguished
Classified Support Staff, Master Teacher, Secondary Teacher of the year,
Elementary Teacher of the Year, and Kansas Master Teacher. Attached is
the letter representing our nomination for Distinguished Staff. The
letter was sent to a committee, who then selects the recipients for the
year. USUALLY, there is only one staff person selected each year to
receive recognition and awards per category, but as you can see.... We
work like a team and WE ARE A TEAM! Obviously, that is apparent to our
peers, too. We were presented the award by the teacher who
nominated us and she represented our school district.
We received the award on May 14, 2007.
