President's Message

Paul Kyle, KCA PresidentI would like first to thank all of you for your dedication to a great profession that truly makes a difference in the lives of clients and their families. Your efforts and hard work may not always be recognized like it should, but be assured your commitment to the ‘people profession’ has a positive impact on society. I am excited to have the opportunity to serve the KCA Family and to work with a great group of leaders who make up your KCA broad. In the coming weeks and months I look forward to what we can accomplish together to keep KCA a healthy organization and at the same time move forward with initiatives to make KCA even better. I want to also say, I appreciate the confidence of the KCA members who selected me to serve as the President. I am honored and humbled that I have the opportunity to serve KCA and its stakeholders in this capacity. Ever since Beth Tedrow introduced me to, what was KACD, I have grown tremendously from the workshops, conferences and most importantly from the individuals who make KCA a successful organization. My challenge to everyone is to get involved and ask someone you know to be a part of a great organization. Also if you have suggestions on how we can make KCA better, let another board member or myself know. Have a great year as we serve the clients, students and parents of Kansas. Thank you!

Paul Kyle

President-Elect's Message

Dear Colleagues,
I am humbled to sit at the leadership table with exemplary counseling professionals. Collaborating and developing a plan to meet the needs of our organization and membership is something that we are, as a Governing Board, committed to. I will continue to accomplish this mission by working closely with the KCA Board on current policies, issues and advocacy that will make the future of our organization strong.

I am honored to have the privilege of representing you as KCA President-Elect. And, to reiterate ACA President, Colleen Logan, ”I applaud you for all the work you do, the people you touch, the numerous times you stand still with someone in his/her pain, and the man, many times that you make a difference in someone’s life.”

Thank you,
Nadine Bailey
