Legislative Updates: Thank you Dr. Andrew Secor for being our Advocacy and Legislative Chair on the KCA Board. We are continuing our partnership with 1861 Consulting to represent our needs for mental health and counselors in Kansas.
MEDICARE REIMBURSEMENT: Medicare is the nation's largest health insurance program. Unfortunately, Medicare does not cover Licensed Professional Counselors (LPCs). Because of this, one of our top priorities currently is to pass legislation that allows LPCs to be reimbursed by Medicare.
